The Agricultural Information & Communications Technology Unit coordinates and manages the information services of the Division of Agriculture including library services, mass communication and relevant data banks. The Unit is also responsible for: - Developing, monitoring and evaluating of all projects of the Division of Agriculture.
- Assisting in the analysis and recommendations relevant to policy formulation
- Coordinating and assisting in the preparation of reports, work programmes, corporate plans and publications for the division of agriculture.
- Establishing clear and effective mechanisms linking the system with private sector investment in agriculture, and public sector infrastructure and related support programmes and incentives to the rural poor.
